Meal plans are required for all guests. Choose either plan.

For day trips, a $22 breakfast-only option is offered for one day per booking or twice per week.

The day trip breakfast-only option is not offered with the half board plan.

Weather Guarantee
The Caribbean is subject to seasonal tropical storms and hurricanes. In the rare event that weather conditions require the closing or evacuation of Sian Ka’an during your stay, you will be refunded for rent and meal plans for any nights you cannot use.

Sargassum Guarantee
Sargassum is a type of seagrass that occasionally washes up on the beaches of the Maya Riviera. Typically the sargassum is minimal and the staff makes best efforts to clear it each day. However, if on any full day of your visit the sargassum makes it impossible to enter the sea for swimming, AND the pool is not available, Casa Almaviva will pay up to MXN$3,000 toward one boat tour or fishing trip over the course of your stay. Limitations apply. See your booking agreement for details.

COVID-19
Our staff follows all safety protocols required under Mexican law. They are also fully vaccinated. In the event that a government order restricts access to the Sian Ka'an reserve you will be refunded for rent and meal plans for any nights you cannot use.
